Feature Brand of the Week – Ayr Skin Care

Ayr Skin Care was sweet enough to send me a remarkable gift recently, and I couldn’t help but talk about some of their products today, because – well, you know about me and my natural ingredient infatuation by now!

I’m not going to babble on like usual (you don’t have to tell me, I know I can get carried away sometimes), because I want to go a little in-depth about each product and the ingredients they are made with.

So without further ado…here they are!

Dead Sea Spa Body Bar

The Dead Sea Spa body bar (bottom left in pic) is made with:

  • Cambrian blue clay, which comes from Siberia’s salt lakes + Dead Sea clay = pulls toxins out of body.
  • White Kaolin clay = provides your skin with phytonutrients, promotes healthy blood flow, and refreshes your skin.
  • Shea butter = Increases collagen production, smooths skin.
  • Essential oils = help to make it smell so fabulous! I said on Instagram am that I wish I could make posts scratch ‘n’ sniff, because O.M.G! It titilates your olfactory senses immediately!
  •
It’s packed full of nutrients – minerals, vitamins, salts, and emollients – and is excellent for all skin types. Not only does it remove toxins, it also restores your skin’s natural pH balance. And, this magical soap made my skin feel so hydrated and silky.

If you haven’t heard, the waters of the Dead Sea have been an attraction for people around the world, because it has long been boasted to exhibit healing properties, the clay is rich in vitamins and minerals. That clay is used in the Ayr Skin Care Dead Sea body wash, which is packed with 21 of the essential minerals you would find in the Dead Sea.

Ayr Skin Care hand crafts each and every one of their bars of soap, which means every bar of soap will have unique swirling patterns (like the ones you see above.)

These luxurious soaps are perfect for any skin type, nontoxic, and provide the following benefits:

    • Removes dead skin cells & toxins
    • Hydrates skin
    • Promotes blood circulation & cell regeneration
    • Boosts collagen production

Isn’t it beautiful? I honestly give it a 10/10 because it truly did make my skin feel soft, and because I am knowledgeable about – and believe in – the ingredients that the bar of soap is made of. I’m actually honored to be able to rub the Dead Sea clay all over my body!

    Calm Facial Bar

It’s rare to find a bar of facial soap that does everything that the Calm facial bar promises for all skin types. It’s made with natural and organic ingredients, and is gentle enough on your skin that you can use it around the clock. It leaves my face feeling so soft and supple feeling, unlike most soaps, which dry my face out.

The castor oil helps the ingredients to penetrate the skin, and the organic avocado butter helps to give you that soft and supple skin. I love the integration of the ginger grass, lemongrass, rosemary, and chamomile essential oils, which soothe any irritation you may have, firm your skin and reduce any fine lines and wrinkles, and firm your skin. (Not to mention, help to make the facial bar smell so fabulous!)

The nettle and olive leaf will soothe your skin by reducing irritation and inflammation. Pure sea clay and activated charcoal work together to attract toxins and dirt out of your pores, purifying your skin and encouraging that healthy glow we all want to achieve.

The Calm facial bar promises to:

    • Revitalize the elasticity in your skin
    • Stimulates the production of cells, collagen, and elastin
    • Keep your skin smooth, soft, and toned
    • Improve circulation

    Virgin Marula Oil

My favorite of them all, the Virgin Marula Oil, is supposed to be one of the best skincare products on the market. In fact, this nutrient-rich, light, hydrating, soothing, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial oil has been dubbed as a “miracle oil” for both face and hair.

The non comedogenic oleic, palmitic, and linoleic oils absorbs super quick, so they can deliver the nutrients to the deeper layers of your skin and hair with incredible speed. In fact, it’s amazing how it doesn’t leave my face oily!

This oil will help to balance out the natural production of sebum in your skin, and provide a layer of protection against free radicals and other environmental stressors.

Ayr Skin Care doesn’t use any preservatives or additives in their marula oil, so you can feel good about applying it to your precious face. No matter what skin type you have.

    Virgin Marula Oil promises to:

    • Moisturize the skin deeply
    • Help to balance your skin’s natural oil production
    • Improve the elasticity of your skin
    • Leave your skin feeling soft and supple

This oil is a powerful antioxidant that helps to boost the production of collagen and increase your skin’s firmness. (Bye bye, wrinkles and fine lines.) Finally, flavanoids and essential amino acids work to renew your skin cells.

    The Samples

They also sent me little samples of their Awaken Revitalizing Eye Serum, Tranquility Moisturizing Hand Cream, and Pure Moisture Nourishing Face Cream, all made with similarly impressive ingredients.

I love when I find brands that have searched the Earth to find unique and superior ingredients for their products! Ayr Skin Care has definitely impressed me with their choice of ingredients and high quality products. The Virgin Marula Oil is dreamy, but I must say that the facial bar and body bar are just as fabulous!

You don’t necessarily have to have money to support a small brand. We can’t all buy from all of the small businesses out there, but we can help them in small ways!

A simple like, comment, repost, or share on social media helps small businesses get the word out about their products and services, and it only takes a brief moment of your time. Go check Ayr Skin Care out, follow them on Instagram, like some of their pics! They would totally appreciate it!

    Xoxo,

    Bethany
